On 4th November 2021, will be held the 3M Doctoral School Day (JED3M). The manifestation will be held on the campus of the UFR Sciences et Techniques (2 Chemin de la Houssinière, 44322 Nantes).
This edition's theme will focus on "Lumière sur l'Invisible" : Most of us work with matter at an invisible scale to the human-eye and the basic principle of scientific research is to explore and understand the unknown.
This JED3M will be an opportunity for each doctoral student to present his/her thesis work. Depending on the available places, you can participate in this day with a 15 min oral presentation (12 minutes + 3 minutes for questions), a Poster (A0 format, portait) or as a open auditor. Priority will be given to third year participants who have not already made their mendatory contribution.

If you plan to give an oral presentation, the content must be related in some way to the theme. Of course, the subject of your presentation remains related to your thesis work, but the idea is to integrate the presentation subject at the defined theme through one or several slide(s).
If you plan to present a poster, there is no particular restriction.
As a reminder, the Doctoral School asks you to participate to two JED3M to validate your PhD with at least one oral contribution (presention or poster) during one of these participations.
Lunch will be included and will take place at the University canteen, in the campus of the UFR Sciences et Techniques, with the possibility of a vegetarian dish.
